This 6”x8” woodblock is hand-carved then printed on 8”x10.5” Rives BFK heavyweight printmaking paper. The woodblock print is then hand-painted with multiple washes of transparent watercolor to create an intimate piece. Inspired by the beautiful spring flower and ancient food of the indigenous peoples of my local landscape.
