This 6”x8” woodblock is hand-carved then printed on 8”x10.5” Rives BFK heavyweight printmaking paper. The woodblock print is then hand-painted with multiple washes of transparent watercolor to create an intimate piece. Inspired by this beautiful bird and the conservation work of biologists and landowners in the Blackfoot Valley, Montana.
